Spare Change Productions dba Jams Creative Co. ("Jams", "we") runs jamscreative.com and manages social media for car dealerships and other businesses. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
Forms on this website. When you fill out a form (for example to apply, download a checklist or watch a video), we collect what you enter: usually your name, email, dealership and whether you want our newsletter. We also note which page you used and the campaign link that brought you there.
Instagram comments and messages. Some businesses we work with (our "clients") connect their Instagram professional account to our app. When someone comments a keyword on that client's post, our app receives the comment text, the commenter's Instagram username and account ID, and the post it was on. We use that only to send the commenter one direct message with the link they asked for, and to reply to their comment. We do not read anyone's other messages, post on anyone's behalf, or collect their followers, photos or profile details.
Connected accounts. For each client that connects, we store an access token that Instagram gives us, the account's username and ID, and a log of the DMs our app sent.
How we use it
- To send you what you asked for (a video, a download, a DM with a link).
- To follow up about our services if you applied or asked us to, and to send our newsletter if you opted in.
- To show our clients how their keyword campaigns are performing.
We never sell your information. We don't share it except with the service providers that run our website, email and spreadsheets (for example Hostinger and Google), and with the client whose post you commented on or whose form you filled out.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them. Instagram comment logs are kept for up to 12 months. A client's access token is deleted as soon as they disconnect our app.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Disconnect our app from an Instagram account any time: Instagram → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites.
- Ask us to delete your information: see data deletion, or email hello@jamscreative.co.
